that reminds me of using ice cube containers to put your tomato paste inside, Then pop one out when you need it. I still use the tube because it will take me a while to use all the tube up, : )

Sure, I do it all of the time. I have a Food Saver & I have been flash freezing lots of stuff lately & then put in the Food Saver bags. I just put tomato paste in a FS bag & it keeps really well. Do you have a FS? If so then spray shallow plastic containers & then put your sauce or ketchup in & flash freeze & then pop them out & put in FS bags, they will take up less room this way. I think they keep very well.

It is SO much cheaper by the ounce to buy them in the #10 cans at Sam's, but I can't use it all up upon opening (unless I'm doing a OAMC session). Can I divide up what I don't need into freezer containers, portioned out to my needs, and freeze the rest? Does it retain its "quality" or does it become too watery or separate?
