We always do breakfast burritos. Eggs, sausage, onion, mushrooms, in a tortilla
with shredded cheese and salsa. No plates or plasticware required!

Dry stuff works well, as does veggies that don't need to be kept cool, such as
potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, broccoli, onions. Pasta is a good
choice. We take a houseboat trip once a year and we freeze things ahead of time
to keep in a separate cooler with dry ice and use those things toward the last
two or three days we're there.
One of the things we always take is frozen spaghetti sauce, but you could
actually just take a jar and cook your meat at camp if you didn't even want to
do that. It's either more work before you go or the same work while camping. We
also do Navajo tacos (Indian fry bread) with taco type stuff on top (hamburger,
with or without beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese.) We take a container of frozen
green chile salsa verde to mix in with the meat, but it's one of our favorites!
