hey thanks guys! I think I like the idea of making the filling & freeze but want to try them both ways. I should also have asked what is your favorite recipe? :-) I am making some for dinner tonight & thought I might put in a little bit of our tomatoes that are almost done, waa the season is so short!
Last night a farmer lady down the road came over & gave me my first ever canning lesson. We did 14 qts of green beans. This was very tiring but it felt good to do it.
