[frozen-assets] Pressure cooking rice reply

 

When it comes to brown rice, there is definitely a time saving by cooking it in the pressure cooker - 45-55 minutes in a regular pan on the stove top vs. 15 minutes in my stove top PC. And it doesn't dry out. I love to cook barley in my PC also. If you drizzle a little oil over the grain and water before putting on the lid, the foaming and possible clogging of the steam vent is lessened.
