Flash freezing can be used with a lot of things you freeze, not just produce.

Sometimes freezing saves money, sometimes it saves time, and sometimes it's just
for the convenience of having it in the freezer.  I've been freezer cooking
since the mid 1980's and it has saved many thousands of dollars in my food
budget, not to mention how much help it has been through things like job losses
and health problems.

Does this process save you money?  I mean I know I can buy fresh fruits, and I
can buy frozen ones, but are the fresh cheaper therby flash freezing would save
me money?  Or is this for people who grow their own mostly?
