There are some important cautions about doing this, and I realize that I do it at my own risk :). BUT, for you organized freezer cooks out there, what I would like to see is:
Freezer recipes that can be made, frozen and then put FROZEN SOLID into the crock pot in the morning.
I have had great success with raw meatloaf this way, but I do check temps and cook on high at least some of the hours of cooking.
What I hope to see posted are actual RECIPES that are ready the moment you take them from the freezer and then open the crock at the end of the day. I know I can throw a frozen pot roast, onions, herbs and vegies in the morning, but I don't even want to do that. I want it all ready (prepared by me) ahead of time. I think lasagna would work well, but have not tried it yet.
Also, what kind of containers do you use....aluminum that fits right into the crock or plastic that you pop out prior to putting in the crock, crock pot bags?
THANKS for any help, and remember I KNOW I do this at my own risk...:)
