Hi all! I am new to this post and relatively new to avid freezing.
For the first time I recently bought a HUGE tub of mayonnaise since I use it in many of my homemade sauces and dressings as well as sandwiches. I got tired of having mayonnaise on the grocery list each week.
But now I'm concerned that I bought TOO much and I wondered if I were to freeze some of it if that would work? Even though I've read that freezing mayo is a problem because it looses its flavor and consistency.
If so, is there anything I can do to "re-flavorize" and regain its consistency?
If not, is there anything else you'd recommend I can do to preserve mayo?
Any advise would be very appreciated!
Rose
