I don't have a place to send you to, but I did a calculation of how many quart sized bags I would cut a roll into, and decided that it was much better for me to buy the bags rather than the roll. They save me work and time because one edge is already sealed. I do keep a roll on hand on the off chance that I might want to seal and save something long in it, but so far, never have. The two sizes of bags already made up has always been sufficient for my purposes.
Walmart carries the bags and rolls, and around here Fleet & Farm has them, and I suppose any farm-type general department store would have them, with probably the best prices. Chef shops and the like would have them but may cost more. I think they are standardized, meaning sealer bags from one company will fit another company's sealer.
Pat, from up north, where winter seems to be coming back. For two days we had record breaking heat and now near record lows! What's up with that?

Subject: [frozen-assets] vacuum dealer question/new here
Hi everyone,
First off let me say this site seems like a great resource for sharing tips and recipes. I'm glad I found it. I'm trying to get caught up on all of the old posts at the moment. While I do that I do have a question. It is time for me to stock up on vacuum sealer bags. I've been pricing out buying a bulk roll. Does anyone have any special website or store they go to? I'm looking at the 11"x50' rolls. I like the prices on sealerbags.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Emily
