I've had that happen with nut meats after they've been in the freezer for quite a long time, but never with meat. I'd look on the package to see if you can find an e-mail address to contact the company.

>Hi everyone, I don't post often but do enjoy all your hints. I recently bought a bag of pre-made meatballs at the grocery. When I got that out this morning to thaw in the fridge, the bag is all "puffed up" and very taut as thought full of of trapped air. Do you think something is wrong with the product that would keep us from eating it?
