Hi Misty,
I am interested in a few of these recipes. Mostly the Bleu cheese burgers, Beefy steamburgers, and the Cabbage rice casserole.
When you get a chance I would love to see them. If you need to send the recipes off-line, just let me know.
SheriK.

I've had mixed results from the few web recipes I've tried so I generally leave them alone unless I know people have tried and liked them. One of the sites I really do enjoy is about.com. They have a number of cooking guides and they encourage their readers to rate and comment on their recipes.

Since there are only 2 of us, one meatloaf gives us 4 meals. Since I don't want to mix up a single meatloaf each time, I mix up several at a time but freeze all but one raw. The raw are frozen in loaf pans, popped out and frozen. The last one is cooked, cooled, cut into portions, wrapped and frozen.

Then I divide the rest of the roast up for freezing. Some is frozen in slices for roast beef and veggie meals. Some is shredded and packaged with some of the broth to be used for French Dip sandwiches. Some is ground for roast beef spread.

To make it easy to serve, I freeze it in 1/3-cup portions because that amount makes a good sized sandwich on a regular size bun. If you use a larger than normal buns, 1/2-cup portions would probably work better. A short time in the microwave and they're ready to assemble and serve. If you're cooking for a larger number of people you could cook several roasts at a time in a large roaster.

At least these are the ones I usually keep in the freezers. Some you may be interested in and some you may not. Every family's tastes are different. I'm sure you have family recipes for many of these and those recipes are the ones you should use. Those are the ones your family knows and loves. If there are others on the list that you would like my recipes for, let me know and I'll get them posted.
