Besides ice cream and sorbet and popsicles, our favorite is frozen
yogurt pie. You fold together two 6-to-8-ounce containers of fruit
yogurt, a tub of cool whip or the equivalent amount of stiff whipped
cream, and a pint (or a store-bought can) of pie filling in a flavor
that's the same as the yogurt or complements it well. Spoon it all into
the pie crust and freeze. It's pastel-pretty, and looks even prettier if
you serve it topped with whipped cream and/or more fruit.
