Beef Tips
3# bottom round roast, cut into 1" cubes, all visible fat removed
4 t. beef base
4 C. water
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
Brown beef cubes if you desire but it isn't necessary. Place everything in slow cooker.
Cook on Medium until beef is fall-apart tender, approx. 4 hours.
Serve over rice, potatoes, or noodles/pasta.
To freeze: Divide into serving size portions, place in sandwich size zipper bags, and freeze on baking sheets. When solid, place in large Ziploc freezer bags, label, and return to freezer.
To serve: Place in microwave-safe container and heat on High until heated through.
My Notes: Any roast you prefer will do. I prefer the bottom round because of it's leanness. Timing will vary depending on your crockpot.
