Yes, in Master Cook, you can delete whatever you don't want. Recipes are filed in Cookbooks, and you can delete entire Cookbooks if you want (the software comes with many). You can also add new Cookbooks. I mainly purchased the software to keep track of my own recipes, so I started several "new" Cookbooks (Favorites, Freezer Cooking, Canning, to name a few). Not sure about burning a copy, but I'm pretty sure you should be able to. You can probably google Master Cook and see what it can do for you.
