The goal is to choose foods that are not gassy or spicy. I once had
Stove-Top-Stuffing when I was nursing and about 3 meals later my daughter
threw-up her whole meal!
Just look for bland, balanced meals. Avoid beans, broccoli, onions, spicy,
ect. and you should be fine.

Subject: [frozen-assets] Meals for nursing mothers
At church, I am often contacted to prepare meals for new, nursing mothers. Since
I was unable to nurse my babies, I'm not sure what the restrictions are as far
as food goes. I have heard that onions, broccoli, etc. are out.
I am looking for ideas for meals that I can freeze ahead to give to the families
that they can just thaw and cook or bake. I'd also be interested in recipes for
meals that I can prepare fresh and just deliver to the family at dinnertime.
TIA,
Gracie
