When I split 9x13 recipes (because although we're a family of 4, it's two adults, a 2 year old and a baby), I use 2 8x8 pans. However, I keep all proportions, instructions, and cooking times/temperatures the same. I've never had a problem with that, and I've been doing it since before kids came along and it was just my husband and I.

Hi everyone,
I have never done OAMC before but a friend of mine and I are doing this for the first time Saturday. One of the things we are making is the Holiday Breakfast Casserole from the Frozen Asset book. It says to pour it in a 9x13 pan but since we are splitting it (one for my house and one for hers) we want to divide it into 2 pans. Can we use 2-8x8 pans? If so, do we need to make any changes to the recipe? Change the cooking time? Thanks for your help. On top of being new to OAMC we are also not well-experienced cooks. It should be an interesting day! :-)
